Two kitchen powders in one order: organic tulsi (holy basil) and seedless amla (Indian gooseberry, also called amalaki). Each pack is 100 g. They are not mixed into one powder. Use tulsi in tea or kadha. Use amla in chaas, chutney, or raita.

This listing is two separate 100 g packs: one organic tulsi powder and one seedless amla powder. Tulsi is holy basil. The powder is made from dried tulsi leaf. It has a mild herbal taste. Stir a small pinch into hot water for a simple tulsi drink, or add it while you simmer ginger in water for kadha. Kadha is a simmered herbal drink. It also goes into dal at the end of cooking. Start with a pinch. A full teaspoon can taste strong. Amla is Indian gooseberry, also called amalaki. This powder is seedless, so it is finer than powder made from the whole fruit. The taste is tangy. Amla is naturally rich in vitamin C. Stir half a teaspoon into thin chaas (buttermilk), or mix it into chutney or raita. If you are new to the taste, start with a quarter teaspoon. Keep the two powders for the jobs they already do in the kitchen. You can also stir a pinch of each into the same glass of chaas or warm water if you want both in one drink. The colour will be dull green and the taste will be herbal and tangy. Each pack is a single ingredient, with no additives and no added sugar. Tulsi is organic holy basil leaf. Amla is seedless Indian gooseberry. Read the label on each pouch for the full ingredient line. Store both pouches closed, in a cool dry place, and use a dry spoon. This is food for the kitchen. It is not a medicine. Not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Recommended: 1 tsp per day. NOT FOR MEDICINAL USE
